November MeetingOur November meeting will be Magic Mania. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of this test of the mind. See how knowledgeable you and your team are about the history and current events of magic. Participation is optional; a studio audience is also going to be needed. This should be a fun night; snacks are being served compliments of the Assembly. See you there! Compeer Dave MacDonald has worked long hours and produced a fantastic website. Check out the clip of the month which shows one of my favorite magicians. Comedic genius Steven Martin performs as “The Great Flydini.” If you have never watched this masterpiece or if has been more than a month since your seen it last, watch it! SAM National Conference for 2010Did you miss the conference this year? Well then start your planning for Atlanta, Georgia on June 30th through July 3rd. More details will be available as we get closer. In the meantime, check for updates at the 2010 Conference page of the SAM website. December MeetingThe December meeting will be the big meeting of the year. On this most important night we will honor our dear compeer and friend Clem Kinnicutt and bestow upon the title of Dean of Assembly 24. We will have our pot luck dinner, and other treats and show with details coming soon. I will be sending out a special e-mail with the details as they are finalized. The location will be either firehouse, Dave’s Church in Troy, or under Norb’s one car garage tent (Norb is checking to see if the car can be moved that night). The date is December 8th, our regular meeting night. |
